Harriet Farley letter to Messrs. James Munroe & Co. [manuscript], 1847 May 4.

Letter discusses reasons for discontinuing publication of "Lowell Offering," stressing that it was by choice, and makes a strong argument for continuing publication as "New England Offering." Further discusses difficulties of finding a publisher in Lowell and the desire to locate one in Boston.
